The John Deere 1200A Bunker and Field Rake helped debunk the theory that it takes an expensive all-wheel-drive machine to perform well on golf courses, sports fields, or new-course construction projects.
The 1200A features the same job-proven drivetrain found in the popular John Deere Gator 4x2 Utility Vehicle. This engine runs easily at 3,100 rpm - this, along with an improved muffler and cowling design, combine to reduce machine noise significantly.
Operators will also notice a number of comfort and productivity features in the 1200A. These include 40 percent less steering effort, an adjustable high-back seat, standard power lift of the rear rake, counterbalanced front and mid-mounted implements, external-fill fuel tank, improved braking system, and removable instrument panel for easier service access.
